How do we proceed

Intake

Before you start working at Beyondfit we always have an intake. This is completely free and non-committal so you are not tied into anything right away and you can take your time to see if Beyondfit is right for you. At the intake you will meet with one of our coaches who will look at your goals and wishes. It is important for us to understand your past, current situation and goals. At the intake you will receive a questionnaire to help us find out where the problem may lie and how we can best help you. Depending on your struggles, personal lifestyle, fitness level and injuries, your coach can determine which program and help is best for you. During the intake we will also do an Inbody Scan to learn more about your body composition. After this we will give you a tour of the gym so you will have a good idea of where you are going to train.
After the intake we advise you to take a trial class.

Inbody scan

The Inbody device is used to measure body composition. A body composition analysis looks at what the body is all composed of. It shows the ratio of muscle mass, fat mass, bones and fluid. It gives you a better picture of your body than measuring your BMI. Two people of the same weight may have completely different bodies and different goals to work on. This is why it is important to distinguish between different parts of your body.

  • Very high accuracy and reproducibility
  • Measure your body as it is - No estimates such as gender, age or how physically active you are are are needed to predict your body composition
  • Indicates what you need to work on (weight loss, building muscle mass)

Trial lesson

We will always do a trial class so you know what to expect from working out at Beyondfit. We will create a workout based on the results of the intake. You will perform different exercises where we focus on posture, technique and injuries. During the trial class we will look at your physical condition and map out any areas of improvement that we need to work on. We also focus on the areas you want to work on the most. We give you feedback on the exercises and record everything so we can work with it during the training sessions and keep track of your progress. We always end with a flexibility test to see if this is something you need to work on.

Are the intake and trial class free?

Yes, the intake and trial lesson are completely free and without obligation. So you are not stuck with anything yet.

How long will the intake take?

The intake takes a total of 30 minutes. This is divided into 20 minutes for the interview with the questionnaire and 10 minutes for the Inbodyscan.

How long does the trial lesson last?

The trial class lasts 30 minutes where we do a fit test and a short workout.

Why is an intake important?

To arrive at a solution, you must first understand the problem. The intake allows us to understand your history, your current situation and where you want to go (goal). With this information, we can then decide which solution is best for you.

Can I schedule a trial lesson right after the intake?

Yes that is possible. Once everything went well during the intake and we know which program suits your goals we will plan the trial class together. We make a customized program prior to the trial lesson so you have a clear picture of the rest of the program.

What should I bring to the intake and trial class?

We recommend scheduling the trial class immediately after the intake. You do not need to bring sportswear for the trial class.

For the trial class, it is of course important that you bring sportswear. In addition, we hope for an "I CAN" mentality and an open mind.
